sb158′s Valley Garden

Once I decided to use Square Foot Gardening, I had to plan and design the garden. We rent, and have about a 50 x 100 lot, most of which is house. I really only have about 20 feet of side yard in which to garden, but it’s about 80 feet long.
I wanted veggies, of course, but some herbs and flowers, too. And fragrance.

This was my first plan:

That was a bit ambitious. I decided to go a bit smaller:

DH still seemed to think that was too much, so I downsized even more:

I also plan to use containers and Self-Watering Containers. I’m gonna have my flowers, herbs, and fragrance somehow.
