I tried to load a bunch of bags of composted manure into a cart at Lowe's the other day (couldn't find anyone to help). There were only a few bags left, all down on the floor, so it was quite a ways to lift up into the cart. I got the first one in, but the second one proved to be too much for me. Just as I got it half way over the edge of the cart, I got this awful twinge in my lower back, and I dropped the bag right onto the concrete. Yes, it broke open, and yes, I walked out of the store and just left it there....served them right for not having someone to help! So now I evidently have a pinched nerve, and after just a few minutes of standing in one place (like at the kitchen sink or stove), my left thigh starts burning and goes completely numb yet hot and painful.
