I hate this part, when I have to describe myself. I'll give it a try. Been married for 30 + yrs., have 2 daughters, 1 son, 4 grandsons, and 1 "dust mop with legs," as my daughter describes my puppy. DH brought her home from the shelter, she's part Yorkie and part poodle, near as we can tell, and only weighs about 7 lbs. Not gonna get much bigger, either. She's a world class diva, who very quickly established herself as the boss around here. Been gardening, in one form or another, since I was a wee one following my Dad and Grandma around their gardens. Had quite a few of my own gardens over the years, but left them all behind every time we moved. Doesn't look like we're going anywhere for a while, so I guess it's time to try again. Since we live in extreme South TX, within spittin' distance of Mexico, we are blessed with a long growing season. Concrete clay, drought, heat, diseases, and LOTS of bugs more than offset the advantages, though. It's a whole 'nuther animal gardening down here, but I'm gonna give it my best shot. And try to share it all with you...
