Garden Bloggers Death Day
I thought it would be fun to join in Garden Bloggers Death Day, hosted by the crew over at Gardening Without Skills.
Here’s my contribution this month…try not to laugh at me too loudly…

On a brighter note, upon which I will expand later, I do have lots of things growing to prepare for Round 2.
Later…

MMMMM….baked beans.
I bet that wind really does you in. I loved the film.
Oh, wow SB. You did get hit pretty hard by the harsh weather. RIP, dear tomatoes, beans, zucchinni, etc.
When I lived in TX, I always ended up abandoning the garden in July (right around the time we’d take our camping trip to – you guessed it – Colorado). The heat sucked the life out of me and those nasty ants tried to finish me off… It’s been 10 years since we left but I still remember…
Trying to garden in TX is a traumatic experience one is unlikely to forget! I guess when the Aggies and every TX garden magazine I’ve ever read tell you to just pull everything out in July and start over in September, they knew whereof they spoke. Lots of it is getting pulled out very shortly, and the new victims (er, I mean, baby plants) are growing under my lights already…
Ohhhh the horror. Apparently the same rules apply for TX and FL when it comes to gardening in July and August – just don’t do it. I’ll admit that I just can’t hang in this heat either. The garden has no shade and I can’t stand there baking while trying to keep anything alive. Your video was great and I love the appropriate music you chose Thanks so much for participating in Garden Blogger’s Death Day!!!
I’m sure I’ll be participating next month too. There’s sure to be plenty more dead things by then.
