So Much To Do, Not Much Time
I’m leaving for Colorado Springs on Thursday, so by a week from now, I’ll be there, instead of here. Got lots of stuff to get done before I leave, for sure. Got to get the peppers in the ground, ready or not, as well as the basil. The basil seems ready, but the peppers are taking their sweet time getting hardened to the sun.
I also have to try to get the shade arbor thingy done for the tomato SWCs. I finished the 4 5-gal SWCs for the watermelon, cantaloupe, and zucchini that I need for the legs, but I still have to paint them. I’ll do that tomorrow, no matter how hot it is, as I don’t have any more time to putz around.
I’m still a bit put out at Home Depot for not carrying the stuff I need for my container mix any more, but what can you do? I had to buy potting mix today, just hoping it works okay. I also had to buy a bigger pot for my Ruttya shrub, as I’m not going to have time to make the beer cooler planter before I leave, and it really needs potting up.
So that’s my plan for the next few days; one very important thing I can’t forget is the instructions for plant care to leave for hubby…
Think I’m gonna be a bit busy…
Well, PHOOEY…I just realized I’m gonna miss the Bones season finale…now THAT totally sucks! Thank goodness for Tivo. Oh well, guess seeing the grandsons will make up for having to wait all that time to watch it!
