Seeds and Winter’s Last Gasp

Got my first bunch of new seeds yesterday, got them soaking now, prior to sowing. Hope they work better than most of the other seeds. Got one hot pepper, one Lilac pepper, which I’ve grown before and really liked, some tomatoes, nasturtiums, and herbs. Probably more, but I can’t remember offhand. The approaching front has made me ache like the dickens, and 100% humidity has made me sweaty, sticky, and cranky. Gonna go shower and go to bed. I’m hoping for a big drop in temperature, and especially humidity, when I wake up.

Had all my baby tomatoes and others outside, but took them in again, just in case we do get some bad storms.

We may actually get some rain, Heaven permitting. It appears winter’s last gasp is headed here. Supposed to drop temperatures quite a bit, to which I can only sound a resounding “Hallelujah!” The weatherman isn’t sure if we’ll get a nice gentle rain, which would be wonderful, or severe thunderstorms. Not so good, but, hey, at this point I’ll take whatever we can get.
